MOORFIELD produced a fabulous team performance in very difficult conditions.
They raced into a 26-6 lead by halftime with a solid defence and some hard drives from all the forwards which allowed space for the backs to run the ball out wide resulting in tries from the ever improving Lewis Edwards three, and one apiece from Connor Morris and Josh Abbott.
In the second half hail stopped play for five minutes, but when Moorfield got into their stride tries came from the hard working Joe Woods two.
Another from busy scrum half Josh Abbott and Great attacking running from man of the match Lewis McLarney was rewarded when he crossed the line for a superb solo effort to seal a well earned victory.
On his return from injury Ryan Dyas earned the Most Improved Player award.
Next weeks game is at home to Blackpool Stanley.
