Widnes Vikings Lee Doran will not face Australia in Rugby League World Cup after Ireland lose to Fiji

THERE will be no dream clash with Australia at the Sydney Football Stadium in the 2008 Rugby League World Cup for Widnes Vikings' Lee Doran.
The Vikings star and his Ireland teammates were defeated 30-14 by Fiji in this morning's thrilling semi-final qualifier at Skilled Stadium on the Gold Coast of Australia.
Fiji go through to face the Kangaroos on Sunday, with England meeting New Zealand in the other semi final at Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane on Saturday.
Doran, who has returned to the Vikings from Leigh for the 2009 season, appeared in the second row, while former Vikings stars Damien Blanch and Scott Grix crossed for tries.
