What an exciting day Sunday was at the Tour of Britian Cycle race in Liverpool, as a member of the Cycling Tourist Club we were asked to help out and Marshal the event, so I got there early and help out with the early races around the Liver Buildings, and boy do they race fast even the young ones. Then we got ready for the race proper, what fun and I really enjoyed my time helping out. We got a T shirt and whistle as a thank you.

David Cameron MP and Steve

10:29am Monday 18th August 2008

On Friday, I had to go to London for a Photo shoot for a book which is coming out in November, more of that when it comes out. Anyway on the train journey back from London, I sat opposite this Young Man and got chatting about things, it turn out that he was David Cameron's new Speech Writer, and he was getting off at Stafford to meet David before David was flying out to Georgia. I mentioned that we had been trying to get a photo of David Cameron, The DWA Poster and Me for ages but we where never in the same place as we were both very busy people. So it was arranged that I too would get of at Stafford Train Station have the photo then all of us would continue on our separate journeys, While chatting with David Cameron I asked if I could possibly Showcase the Don't Walk Away Campaign at his National Conference and he said that he would get his people to try and arrange it.
